Level 5 Diploma in Practitioner Reflexology

Centralia is an independent Approved Centre, fully regulated by the Awarding and Qualification Organisation, Agored Cymru. Centralia provides access to the UK's first Reflexology Diploma qualification at Level 5.

This course incorporates five units assigned under the Skills for Health Sector, Nursing and Subjects and Vocations Allied to Medicine Sector which are 100% specific to becoming a Professional Clinical Reflexologist.

The course content meets the core curriculum of the regulatory bodies at the time of accreditation and gaining the qualification permits entry to the voluntary CNHC register.

The units are also recognised in Europe as the Credit and Qualifications Framework for Wales is registered with the European Qualifications Framework.

The course is recognised by the Association of Reflexologists (AoR).

Reflexology Skills in Practice

Reflexology Skills in Practice provides a sound foundation, enabling you to build upon the basic skills of a reflexology treatment, including four practical assessments.  

The study and application of hand reflexology,  maternity reflexology and reflexology for palliative care  are also assessed in this unit, alongside the theoretical knowledge of reflexology

Incremental Development of Applied

Reflexology Skills in Practice

Through carrying out person studies, you will gain a deeper understanding of interpreting what you find on the feet, treatment planning and the application of anatomy, physiology and pathology learning.

This unit facilitates your development in depth and complexity as your skills and learning progress, and provides the opportunity to demonstrate clinical reasoning through reflection and analysis.

Providing Reflexology For Specific Conditions

Providing reflexology for specific conditions includes reading and analysing research reports and the theory and application of treatments for fertility, pregnancy, maternity and palliative care.

You will also study a treatment technique specific to the systems that are most affected by stress. Neuro-Endo-Psycho-Immuno-Pody (NEPIP) explores the psychology of stress and the way it can result in a compromised immune system.  

Anatomy, Physiology and Pathology for Reflexology

Anatomy, physiology and pathology is taught specifically in relation to reflexology, enabling you to apply the extensive knowledge you will acquire to personally tailor reflexology treatments for each client.
The assessments for this unit will inform and support you in becoming a highly knowledgeable reflexology practitioner.

Business Skills for Reflexology Practice

This unit focuses on what you will need on a practical level to set up and establish your career working as a newly qualified reflexologist.

Completing comprehensive research and compiling a business plan will provide you with the confidence and understanding to face the challenges ahead and benefit from the rewards.

Entry Requirements

  • 18+ at enrolment

  • adequate level of written and spoken English

  • sufficient ability to perform reflexology techniques

  • time and commitment to complete the course work and case study treatments

  • sound experience of working with computers

​Course Fees and Payment Options

The total course fee is £2,900 which includes a £500 non-refundable deposit.

  • full course fee of £2,900 paid in advance

  • £500 deposit, then full payment of £2,400 before the first day of the course

  • £500 deposit, then 12 consecutive monthly payments during the course of £200

  • Student insurance and membership of the AoR £36.00 (May 2019)

  • Agored Cymru Unit Fees £142.20 (May 2019)

  • Centralia Approved Centre Fees £132 (May 2019)

  •  As part of their support package learners have a regular monthly Skype tutorial with their tutor.

  • Temple Academy of Reflexology facilitates a monthly support group for learners; providing a safe space to share experiences and further explore and integrate an energetic approach to their reflexology.  A small fee to cover refreshments may apply.

  • We have an extensive library of books which learners have access to. 


Professional Requirements

Learners at Temple Academy of Reflexology are required to be members of the Association of Reflexologists (AoR), their student membership includes free insurance and a range of support material.
